The Covina Bowl was designed by the architectural firm Powers, Daly, and DeRosa and it was completed in 1956 in Covina, CA. This southern californian mid-century bowling alley is a Goggie design masterpiece and features a steeply pitched A-frame roof over the main entrance.The Covina Bowl was shuttered in early 2017 after many years in decline and is currently a time capsule awaiting rescue. In February 2020, the City of Covina released a Notice of Preparation for the Covina Bowl that calls for the partial reuse of the historic building.
