Coney Island has been serving its delicious hot dogs for generations to generations every day, but Tuesday, since Catherine and George Tsagarelis opened in 1929. Coney Island looks much like it did decades ago. Patrons enter the eatery under a large neon sign installed in the 1940's and Coney Island's wooden booths sport carvings. Almost 100 years after the business was founded, a long line still winds past the glass counter during the mid-day lunch rush as patrons order hot dogs, then watch as their lunches are made.
