For all the Modernists visiting Palm Springs for Modernism Week, the Palm Springs City Hall is a great example of mid century modern architecture and it needs to be admired. Designed by Swiss architect Albert Frey who established a style of modernist architecture centered on Palm Springs, California. This architecturally significant masterpiece features a very interesting screen wall made with metal tubing cut at angles and arranged in columns to block the morning sun.
