Added Showcase
CARLV12 launched a monthly blog starting October 2025.
Our vision for the posts is to reflect and document the commercial and industrial arts and urban design of the 1950’s to the 1970’s. The topics will primarily focus on architecture, neon and vintage signage, and classic cars.
Our first 3 posts were:
Mid-Century Modern Design in Palm Springs: A Desert Oasis of Style
The Art of Neon: Color, Light and Expression
Classic Cars: Art, Color and Design
The January post will be about conservation, restoration & preservation. Please watch for the email notification in the next couple of weeks.
Additionally, we’re adding our quarterly newsletters to the blog tab.
Out and About
Over the last few months, we spent a lot of time in Arizona and the central California coast. Carlos is working hard analyzing, evaluating and editing the hundreds of photos of signs, architecture and Americana that he took. Keep an eye out for new photos and categories being added to our website.
As mentioned before, we spent time in Wildwood, NJ, a seaside resort town painstakingly preserved in the mid-century. We were amazed at the efforts being made to ensure the nostalgic feel and authenticity of this quintessential place. Check out the WILDWOODS collection.
